Welcome to Sweet No More

Emotional well-being, self-awareness, stress management, ayurveda, nutrition and ways to create more balance in everyday life.

Welcome,

The name Sweet No More comes from two deeply connected themes.

Maybe we need to be less ”sweet” in order to be more ourselves?

People-pleasing and other self-sabotaging behaviours are the root cause of much pain. The impact it has on our lives is huge. On this site I will post about different aspects of people pleasing, in order to understand it better and what to do about it. The name people pleasing is misleading I think, it almost trivializes the issue. What often lies underneath is anxiety, self-abandonment, and a deep need for safety. I hope you’ll find hope and courage to break out of all types of self sabotage if you are living that.

Maybe it´s time to take better care about the body and reduce sugar and unhealthy choices?

People-pleasing and sugar have a lot in common. In small amounts, they may feel comforting, caring, or even soothing, but too much can slowly affect both our health and our quality of life.

Because the body and mind are deeply connected, true wellbeing asks us to be mindful not only of what we eat, but also of the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns we feed ourselves.

Sweet no more is about nourishing both the body and the mind.

I hope you’ll find inspiration and knowledge that you can bring into your own life.

Food and its connection to health has been an important part of my life for a long time. When Ayurveda came into my life, it deepened that understanding even further.
I am more convinced than ever that the food plays a central role in our wellbeing and health.

For me, it’s not about being rigid, and I personally don’t believe diets serve us. Rather, it’s about making consious choices and giving food the attention it deserves.
We can prepare a wholesome meal in just 15-20 minutes, the same amount of time it takes to heat up processed food. You’ll find recipes here at my site.

I feel connected to the ancient sciences, such as Ayurveda, which has existed for more than 5,000 years. Much of what is taught in Ayurveda is logical and aligned with how the body and mind actually works, from my experience.

My work as a hypnotherapist reflects my deep interest in human psychology. People-pleasing, codependency, and self-sabotaging behaviours are topics I meet everyday in my practice, so it feels natural for me to write about them. I have been on my own journey of breaking old patterns. I hope that what I write can be helpful to you, offer new insights, or perhaps make you nod in recognition and know that you are not alone. There is always help available.

Some of what I write is deep and reflective, while other pieces are simple, light-hearted tips. In my experience, we need all of it.

Please consider this a smörgåsbord of perspectives and methods — take what resonates and gently leave the rest.

I believe the small everyday actions are often underestimated.
Many things that are good for us are simple, but in a fast-moving world, it’s easy to overlook the value of small daily choices. It’s the small things we do consistently that build strength and health over time, so I hope you’ll be encouraged to create positive changes in your life. Big or small.

I kindly ask for respect toward myself, everyone involved, and the readers of this content.
This is non-political and non-religious content.

Again, Welcome to my smörgåsbord❤️
